At an altitude of 1,000 meters. Wherever the eyes wander they enjoy a magnificent mountain panorama. Cavalese, the capital of the Fiemme Valley, stands on a slight incline at the valley’s widest point and is divided into two historical centers, Upper Cavalese and Lower Cavalese. They offer fascinating glimpses of courtyards, little squares and openings onto the Rio Gambis. There is no shortage of sports and entertainment possibilities, in addition to cultural and social events. The Contemporary Arts Center in Cavalese is well worth a visit, while the artistic, historical Palazzo Vescovile, which hosts the Magnifica Comunità di Fiemme, will meet with any visitor’s admiration.
